With BAFA® one seat becomes like the other. In the production, the scrim offers a base structure for the high technology fibres like carbon to UD prepregs. It supports the carbon binding and guides - due to a predetermined angle of the scrim - air entrapment out of the product which occurs during the laminating process.
With a weight under 5 g/sqm, this is a heavy performance! You do not only find BAFAĻ-laid scrims in airplane seats, you find them in multiple layers in turbine blades for wind generators, too. Up - up and away!

| Fact: BAFA®-laid scrims with a high tensile strength, a low weight, epoxy-resin-friendly or heat-sealable equipped. Carbon- or glass rovings are fixed easily with BAFA®-laid scrims to prepregs. That can be perfectly cut or punched. |
