Since the middle of the 20th century BAFATEX, now in the 3rd generation, contributes to manufacture final products of different branches more efficiently or even improve their quality.

In 1954 Wilhelm Bellingroth, founder of the company, invented a process where warp and weft yarns are not mechanically connected, but only cross each other. Subsequent fixing at the crossing points is achieved with binders. The production of BAFA^®-laid scrims has been developed to the advancement in today's technology and carefully adapted to the continuously changing requirements of various areas of applications.

Modern specialty machines of proprietary design fabricate high grade products that always comply with latest quality requirements. A dedicated staff of about 20 people is engaged in realising your idea of making BAFA^®-laid scrims a marketable product.
